That’s amazing. It’s like regular folk with a Ford Explorer with a roof basket towing a Coleman camper but fancy as fuck.

Gotta admit, the Bentayga is growing on me

I find it funny that the trend in expensive SUV’s these days is these hilariously tiny roof boxes. I’m sure its because there is something they intend to get dirty and can’t stomach the idea of having it inside. I mean, I guess thats the point of having money is the choice but I do find it funny that their Sports Utility Vehicle isn’t suitable for Utility.

I mean, they are using it to tow a big ‘ol camper.

Yeah, thats the kicker...what can’t they fit in their SUV OR Airstream that necessitates a roof box? More than this particular example it seems to be a trend in my area for really fancy SUV’s and whatnot to have these super aero cargo boxes that have the equivalent storage area to an MR2 spyder frunk.

To me it looks like an item-specific carier, I’m just not sure what for.

For us it was two large strollers. We had the roof box to carry those since they took up so much real estate in the hatch. Who knows what he has, but not like he is planning on taking that camper with them when they go out around town or checking out the city they are in and leaving the campgrounds.
A roof box on any vehicle add so much additional capacity, especially if you have 5 people in the car, gear and other misc.

They only bought that trailer so they could take up more parking spots

I don’t think a single stroller (outside an umbrella stroller) would fit in there. Im not opposed to cargo boxes on SUV’s...
But I wouldn’t buy one that could only hold a couple of folded bed sheets.

If it were winter I’d say it was for Snow Skis, keep the corrosive rad slop off of them but keep the melting crap out of the car and trailer, as it is July I’m not sure.

Maybe the picture doesn’t do it justice, but that is a pretty big SUV, box maybe a bit slim (height wise) , but it looks pretty big to me.
My aero box is a slimmer style Thule box, trust me, it holds a lot.

Here’s some folks living their best life taking up 5 damn parking spaces.

I love this.

Not a lot else you can do with a trailer like that

I think it’s probably bigger than it looks

Well, you need a lot of torque to pull that thing.

I think they do it for the same reason that bros in Golfs, Audis, and Subarus keep utility racks on their car all the time: they want to look active.

That’ s just for hanging out at the camp. The still stay at a hotel.
